About

Melvin Bolden Jr., DNP, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CMSRN, is the Director of Nursing at The Recovery Village Indianapolis. He brings more than 15 years of nursing experience to his role, with a background spanning patient care, clinical management, nursing education and executive leadership. Before joining The Recovery Village, Melvin served in leadership positions including Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Assistant Dean of Nursing and Clinical Manager, where he oversaw nursing operations, developed staff education programs and led initiatives to improve patient safety, employee engagement and quality of care. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Indiana University School of Nursing and holds advanced certifications in nursing leadership and medical-surgical nursing. Melvin is passionate about developing strong nursing teams and creating a supportive environment where patients receive compassionate, high-quality care.
