Checking in at Inpatient Rehab
We prioritize individualized attention by scheduling admission times promptly upon your call. Arriving on time ensures our care team can dedicate their full attention to your needs, minimizing any delays.
For the safety and sobriety of all patients, each resident must agree to a search of their person and belongings upon arrival. Staff will collect any prohibited items and store them securely until your departure. Random searches may occur during your stay at The Recovery Village Indianapolis.
COVID-19 Notice
The Recovery Village Indianapolis is taking proactive steps to ensure the health and safety of all patients, employees and the communities we serve. We are following the latest CDC recommendations for controlling the spread of COVID-19, including testing, face masks and enhanced sanitation protocols.
Our Treatment Process
At The Recovery Village Indianapolis, patients begin treatment in a program tailored to their needs and may transition to lower levels of care as they progress. Typically, treatment starts with medical detox, followed by either inpatient or intensive outpatient care.
ABOUT YOUR STAY
Length of Stay
The duration of your stay depends on your program, customized treatment plan, recovery journey, and insurance coverage. Typically, clients may experience:
- 3–7 days of medical detox
- 30–45 days of residential onsite care, including medical detox, inpatient rehab, PHP and IOP levels
Will I be forced to stay in treatment?
It’s essential for all patients to complete their treatment plan, as leaving medical care too soon can elevate the risk of relapse and overdose. Nevertheless, patients have the autonomy to leave treatment at any time, even against medical advice, as long as they are not a danger to themselves or others.

PAYING FOR TREATMENT
Insurance and Your Obligation During Treatment
Nearly all health insurance plans require you to pay some out-of-pocket costs in order to access your healthcare benefits (collectively, the “Patient Responsibility”).
Your individual Patient Responsibility will vary.
An intake coordinator will review your Patient Responsibility with you when you’re admitted or as soon as you are medically stable. They will explain the deductible is due during admission and that the co-insurance amount and out-of-pocket balance will be bill and paid for once services are complete. Onsite financial counselors will review your financial responsibility again during treatment with case managers who can help you navigate FMLA and short-term disability.
It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider prior to admitting at The Recovery Village Indianapolis to make sure you understand your individual benefits plan. Please note that your insurance plan may not be a “participating provider” with The Recovery Village Indianapolis. You are responsible for all non-covered and out-of-pocket costs related to your treatment stay.
