Our Treatment Process

At The Recovery Village Indianapolis, patients begin treatment in a program tailored to their needs and may transition to lower levels of care as they progress. Typically, treatment starts with medical detox, followed by either inpatient or intensive outpatient care.

The duration of your stay depends on your program, customized treatment plan, recovery journey, and insurance coverage. Typically, clients may experience:

  • 3–7 days of medical detox
  • 30–45 days of residential onsite care, including medical detox, inpatient rehab, PHP and IOP levels

Now that you’ve decided to begin treatment at The Recovery Village Indianapolis, it’s time to prepare for your stay.

At our facility, clients can enjoy a full-service cafeteria with meals expertly prepared by our onsite chef. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are typically several options available, including vegetarian choices. Each meal is crafted to be both delicious and nutritious, supporting clients’ physical and mental well-being as they progress in their recovery journey. Additionally, snacks are provided to ensure clients have access to nourishing food throughout the day.

Please refrain from bringing outside snacks or meals into the facility for the safety of all clients, and inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions beforehand for accommodation.

Upon admission, all personal phones will receive a red security strip covering the camera. The red security strip shall not be tampered with in any manner. If the security strip is tampered with in any manner, the patient’s phone will lead to losing phone privileges.

Our Recovery Advocates can answer your questions about our addiction treatment programs and life at The Recovery Village Indianapolis.

Let your intake coordinator know you want to speak to a Recovery Advocate when you call.

Nearly all health insurance plans require you to pay some out-of-pocket costs in order to access your healthcare benefits (collectively, the “Patient Responsibility”).

Your individual Patient Responsibility will vary.

An intake coordinator will review your Patient Responsibility with you when you’re admitted or as soon as you are medically stable. They will explain the deductible is due during admission and that the co-insurance amount and out-of-pocket balance will be bill and paid for once services are complete. Onsite financial counselors will review your financial responsibility again during treatment with case managers who can help you navigate FMLA and short-term disability.

It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider prior to admitting at The Recovery Village Indianapolis to make sure you understand your individual benefits plan. Please note that your insurance plan may not be a “participating provider” with The Recovery Village Indianapolis. You are responsible for all non-covered and out-of-pocket costs related to your treatment stay.
