Amazing people they truly care

While enrolling, Jessica was an amazing help during what can be a pretty scary time. She made it extremely easy to ensure the facility met my needs and I would be a good fit.

I am excited to get started on my recovery journey at The Recovery Village.

Everyone was so great! The chefs are amazing. Cleaning crew is too notch! Love the program there.

Only things I suggest are reading lights on walls and a landline phone for patients

Amazing group of people and outstanding facility!

I am very grateful to have found The Recovery Village @ Indianapolis. They got me admitted very quickly, checking on me every couple of hours before I arrived. Once admitted, most of the staff was very caring and friendly. After detox my stay in residential was good, I had a much better experience at RV compared to some other places I’ve stayed for treatment. My counselor, Michelle Commander was amazing, she helped me a lot. Groups were great. Deardra, Commander, Joe & Addison are absolutely amazing and without them I don’t think that place would be the same. Overall, they helped me out a great deal.

Some areas to improve on- Having more nurses on staff so that getting medication doesn’t always take so long. Also- expediting ordering/receiving medications that are vital for someone to have and take for medical reasons could also be improved. MORE CASE MANAGERS. 1 person can only do so much and I truly believe that because 1 person was juggling so many clients most of the time, error and lack of follow up wasn’t done properly or in the right timely fashion. Luckily, we got our cell phones from 3:30-5:30pm every day so we could do some follow up on our own or try to figure out aftercare- but follow up on legal issues and setting up aftercare is a crucial part of a clients journey, and a lot of things fell through or things weren’t being done until last minute- which is very stressful for someone in recovery.

Despite the above- This is a great facility. They DO genuinely care for the clients. I’d recommend the facility to anyone in need of help with their addiction.

I hope to return to The Recovery Village one day not as a patient, but to share my experience, strength and hope.

Best place and recommend it to anyone who truly wants to change their life

I just completed their 28 day stay and it was pretty good. The class's are full with knowledge and tools and coping skills. Most of the staff have your best interests at heart. The food is good and there is alot. Tvs in your room with Netflix, YouTube, tubi, Pluto. You get your phone 2 hours a day everyday. You can smoke, and chew pretty much whenever you want. The nurses will get your meds squared away without a problem. Your counselor will met with you for one on one's all throughout the week. I want to give a shout out to my counselor Lisa White, she really cared about what I was going through and helped me my whole time there. They also provide places you can go to after you complete the program. They have a detox side you can go to when you first get there if you are coming off hard drugs. They have a full size gym with all the equipment and and outside basketball court, volleyball, football, ping pong, cards, and art supplies. You can order stuff from Amazon like hygiene. You can also order nicotine products if you have cash or card or your people can drop them off. I had a easy great time there. You just got to focus on yourself and not worry about what other people are doing. It's easy to get caught up in what other people are doing and if you are going through anything like that just talk to counselor. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get there life headed in the right direction. It's a good starting place. They bill your insurance so it's pretty much free, it dont cost any actual money. Thanks so much recovery village I appreciate the help and I am doing good still.

I actually just completed from Recovery Village on Nov. 2, 2025 and my experience there was absolutely amazing! Life changing honestly, the staff are respectful,fun,they engage in activities and they take the time to know each one and listen, they DNT look down upon anyone or judge us. The therapist mentors teachers nurses they are the same!! I would refer anyone and everyone who is fighting addiction to come to recovery village, you won't be disappointed. Oh yea and I almost forgot the kitchen chefs each one of them go over and beyond to make each patient satisfied,the food the serve is absolutely immaculate!! And if you do not like what is on menu, they have a few different selections to choose from . I promise I am so happy with the changes that has been made my family talks to me my kids talk to me on a daily... It's down right amazing!!!

This place did a excellent job with my girl friend very grateful they helped her. She had a solid team that helped her. And they made sure everything went smoothly

The staff is very friendly and supportive in your recovery journey. The group facilitators are highly educated and always discuss very relevant information in group about recovery. The food is also really good, big shout out to the guys that cooked for all of us here at RVI. They also have many recreational activities such as ping pong, basketball, and a gym. Great place to rest and focus on your sobriety. I highly recommend this place to somebody who is trying to get sober.

My experience from the moment I walked through the front door to begin my journey toward my goal of sobriety was nothing short of amazing. Their entire staff "SEES" you." They "HEAR" you. They want the very best for you. For your journey. It was my first and prayerfully the only time. I left better equipped to identify things that are detrimental to my whole well being. And the tools necessary to achieve this success on the daily. If you find yourself wanting to be a better version of you in a safe and caring environment this is where you should start. RVI was a blessing. Graduated today and am doing well now that Im on proper meds thx to RVI staff and genesite testing which I recommend. Foods amazing, phones for 2 hrs a day and can smoke and vape without them regulating when and how much you smoke. Clean environment. Super nice gym well equipped. I mean what more could you ask for.. Been drinking and drugging 20 yrs and today I feel I have a new lease on life. 29 days clean and heading to a meeting in a hr outside of there.. very grateful and blessed🫶✌️

I felt so welcomed and accepted, without judgment, moving through such a rough patch. Your staff being so knowledgeable and caring through this process has made a huge and positive impact on my sobriety, and I thank you.

Honestly the only bad thing I can say about the place is they were slow on getting me the right medicine other than that I give them five stars all day in every department

The admissions process was fantastic. The guy I spoke with was very kind hearted and friendly. He was patient and was a very good listener. The woman who I spoke with a few hours after was very down to earth and easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable and confident moving forward with this process.! 🥰🤗🤗

Best place to get clean

I love this place it's the best place I've been in in a long time the staff is great they really care about you they make you feel like you're at home and I just about the money I would recommend this place for anyone
